NURSERY ASSISTANCE NEEDED

If you feel led to help in the nursery, we could really use your help.  There will be a sign up sheet in the Narthex for you to sign up for dates and times that work best for you.  Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.  If you have any questions you may ask Patty Clubb.  She will have details required to fill this position.

If you have not had time to help with the cleaning of your church, it is NOT too late.  There is a list of rooms that still have not been cleaned lying on the credenza in the Narthex.  Please take a few minutes and pray and come and do your part.  God’s house needs cleaning just like yours!

FAMILY-TO-FAMILY NEWS

A Family- to- Family Ministry Vision  plans to start a Welcome Table, a free meal and fellowship for East Asheville community families in need.  See bulletin board in Educational Building for details.  Sign-up sheet in narthex for those interested to help in any way.

 UNITED METHODIST WOMEN’S NEWS

 YARD SALE!!!!!

SAFE SANCTUARY TRAINING

If you were unable to attend the Safe Sanctuary Training, you may call Judy at the church number 299-9742 or at the parsonage 298-4130 to schedule about 30 minutes for your individual training.  REMEMBER YOU MUST HAVE SAFE SANCTUARY TRAINING ONCE A YEAR IN ORDER TO CONTINUE WORKING WITH THE CHILDREN/YOUTH!

CHILDREN/YOUTH INFORMATION

Since we are having so much trouble getting adults to help with the children/youth, we are cancelling (JUST FOR JULY) the Wednesday night suppers and M&M’s.

There is a sing-up sheet in the Narthex for YOU to choose several dates to host the M&M’s on Wednesday nights during the months of August – December!  These children need you.  If you want to work with them and have not filled out your paperwork for your background/DMV check, please see Judy Benton. She will take the time to make sure you are up-to-date on everything you need to help with this most urgent need!

JUDY NEEDS HELP!  All of you who have said, “Let me know if I can help you”. I need someone to teach my children’s SS class Sunday, June 13th. Thanks.

Thank you to ALL that are supporting our children in giving through your quarters and dollars for their trip to Dollywood and Confirmation Trip.  It’s beginning to add up.  As of last week, you generously gave $163.00. We will have one more week to collect. Blessings to all of you!

CHILDREN/YOUTH.  If you were planning on going to Dollywood, please see Ms. Judy to check your points!  This was a project that you needed to work on, and if you do not have enough points, there are projects that you can do to earn the rest of your of what you need.
